Quality & Sourcing

Ingredient Standards

The Turmeric Tart works with established botanical suppliers that provide herbs, roots, flowers, berries, seeds, and spices intended for tea, culinary, craft, and home apothecary use.

When choosing ingredients, we look for supplier standards such as botanical identity practices, clean handling procedures, organic options when available, and quality-focused sourcing for bulk herbs and botanicals.

Before blending or packaging, we review received botanicals for aroma, appearance, color, texture, freshness, and suitability for their intended use.

Because herbs are natural materials, slight differences in cut size, color, aroma, and texture may occur from batch to batch. These natural variations can depend on harvest timing, growing conditions, supplier availability, and plant part.

Our Quality Priorities

  • Botanicals selected for freshness, aroma, color, and texture
  • Organic ingredients used whenever available and appropriate
  • Clear ingredient listings on product pages
  • No unnecessary fillers in our loose herbs or handcrafted tea blends
  • Small-batch preparation for closer attention to detail
  • Proper storage and packaging practices to help maintain freshness

Certification Clarification

Some ingredients may come from suppliers with organic, kosher, cGMP, or other quality certifications. Unless otherwise stated, those certifications apply to the supplier, facility, or ingredient as listed by the supplier and do not imply that The Turmeric Tart independently holds those same certifications.

We share ingredient standards for transparency while keeping supplier relationships private.
