How to Make 64 oz of Sunspire Sweet Tea
You'll Need
- 3 tablespoons Ceylon black tea
- 1½ tablespoons dried pineapple bits
- 1½ tablespoons hibiscus
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 4 cups hot water
- 4 cups cold water
- ½ to ¾ cup honey or preferred sweetener, adjusted to taste
Instructions
- Add the Ceylon black tea, pineapple, hibiscus, and ginger to a large heat-safe jar, pitcher, or tea infuser.
- Pour 4 cups of hot water over the ingredients.
- Steep for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how strong you like it.
- Strain while still warm.
- Stir in honey or your preferred sweetener until fully dissolved.
- Add 4 cups of cold water.
- Chill, pour over ice, and enjoy.
For a stronger sweet tea, add a little more black tea. For a brighter, fruitier blend, use less black tea and a little more pineapple or hibiscus. For a warmer finish, add a little more ginger.
